Components for fuel cells - In practice

1h 00m

Examples of successful industrial implementation of leak tests emerging from regulation demands and practical considerations.

What is the webinar about?

This webinar will focus on:

  • Development of leak test procedures out of current regulations

  • Pave the way from diffuse concepts to defined and precise implementation of test procedures as well as pass/fail criteria

  • Considerations influencing development of a test procedure are:

    • Regulation conformity

    • Functionality

    • Safety

Regulations for homologation and serial leak testing of fuel cell and balance-of-power components are identifying the components which need to be leak tested. However, they do not give any guidance for test methods, parameters or Pass/Fail criteria. Consequently, there is high uncertainty in the dynamically emerging community dealing with fuel cell applications with respect to test methods and recipes.

In our webinar we will discuss examples of successful industrial implementation of leak tests emerging from regulation demands and practical considerations. This covers components both from the anode and the cathode side with various leak testing procedures using air and tracer gas.

Who should attend?

This webinar is created for those who work in the field of renewable energy & environment, chemistry, maritime shipping, development, automotive, engineering and propulsion
